Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how FuseGrid (“FuseGrid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at www.fusegrid.io, our web and desktop applications, and our related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide. When you request pilot access, sign up for development updates, create an account, or contact us, we collect information such as your name and email address. For pilot access requests, we may also collect your role or firm, approximate number of QuickBooks clients, workflow pain points, confirmation that you are willing to test an unfinished product, optional context you provide, and the contents of your communications.
- Account and authentication data. If you authenticate with a third-party identity provider (for example, Google or GitHub), we receive basic profile information and an authorization token to sign you in.
- Data you connect. When you connect a third-party data source such as Intuit QuickBooks, Google Drive, a cloud data warehouse, or upload files, we access and process data from those sources as you direct in order to provide the Service. This may include financial records, transaction data, account balances, customer and vendor records, spreadsheet contents, and related metadata.
- Usage and device data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, features used, error logs, IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and basic analytics.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Authenticate users and secure accounts;
- Import, process, query, and visualize data you connect to the Service at your direction;
- Communicate with you about product updates, early access, and support;
- Monitor, debug, and improve the Service;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. QuickBooks and other third-party data sources
When you connect your Intuit QuickBooks account (or any other third-party data source) to FuseGrid, you explicitly authorize us to access, retrieve, store, and process the data you select from that account on your behalf. We use QuickBooks data only to deliver the analytical features of the Service you request — for example, to load your accounting data into workbooks, run queries, and display dashboards.
We do not:
- Sell QuickBooks data or data from any other connected data source;
- Use QuickBooks data for advertising; or
- Share QuickBooks data with third parties except as described in “How we share information” below.
You can disconnect a third-party data source at any time from within the Service, which will revoke our authorization to access new data from that source. You may request deletion of previously imported data as described in “Your choices and rights.”
4. How we share information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting on Amazon Web Services, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics). These providers are bound by contractual obligations to use information only as needed to provide services to us.
- At your direction. We share information with third parties when you instruct us to, such as when you connect an account, invite collaborators, or export data.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of FuseGrid, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If FuseGrid is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information and connected data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting privacy@fusegrid.io. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
6. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for stored data, access controls, and logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@fusegrid.io.
- Email preferences. You can opt out of product update emails at any time by following the unsubscribe link in those emails. Transactional emails (such as account and security notices) cannot be opted out of while you maintain an account.
- Disconnect data sources. You can disconnect QuickBooks and other connected accounts at any time from the Service.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA, including the right to object to processing, restrict processing, or data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@fusegrid.io.
8. International data transfers
FuseGrid is operated from the United States, and information we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact privacy@fusegrid.io and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated Policy at https://www.fusegrid.io/privacy.html and updating the “Effective date” above.
